Picosecond lasers shatter tattoo ink into tiny particles. Those are then gradually carried away by your own immune system. The laser itself doesn’t erase the ink. It just shatters it. The body’s doing the actual clearing over the following weeks. The “frosting” you see right after treatment, that’s just gas bubbles in the skin, not the ink disappearing. That’s why multiple sessions are usually needed as your immune system gradually removes those fragments.

We also go the extra mile to protect our client by using PFD silicone patches which are special medical-grade clear sheets infused with a harmless nontoxic liquid called perfluorodecalin (PFD). They are used during our laser sessions to clear away the white frosting on the skin, protect against heat, and allow multiple laser passes in one single visit.

We recommend waiting 3-6 weeks before follow -up visits to fade tattoos safely and allow your skin dermis to heal correctly. 6-10 sessions are recommended to completely fade/remove your tattoo/body art, depending on the age, color, location and type of ink used.
