The First Few Days
The treated area may remain red or sensitive. Depending on the tattoo and your individual response, small blisters, scabs, or crusting may develop. Do not pick, scratch, or peel the treated area, as doing so can interfere with healing and increase the risk of complications.
As Your Skin Heals
Your body gradually clears the fragmented tattoo pigment through its natural healing and immune processes. Because this takes time, tattoo fading occurs gradually rather than immediately.
